THINK BEFORE YOU CLICK, BURMA CAMP CLUSTER OF SCHOOLS.

We had the privilege of hosting a Think Before You Click session at Garrison Cluster of Schools a unique community made up of three schools in one; Garrison, Kotoka and Burma Camp Basic Schools all in Burma Camp, Accra.

It was a powerful and engaging session where we discussed critical issues affecting young people in today’s digital world, including sexting, cyberbullying, and responsible social media use. The conversations were honest, interactive, and necessary.

One of the highlights of the session was a presentation by an IT expert who explained what really happens to our images once they are stored online. Students gained insight into digital footprints, data storage, and the reality that once something is shared online, it can travel far beyond our control. It was truly an enlightening moment for many.

Beyond digital awareness, we also addressed an equally important issue of dignity. Over 600 girls were supported with a sanitary pad each under our “One Pad for Her” campaign, reinforcing our belief that empowerment must address both online safety and offline well-being.

At The Woman Called She, we remain committed to equipping young people with the knowledge and awareness they need to navigate the digital space safely and responsibly.

Empowerment begins with information and information protects
